    Intro

    ancoreShare Extension integrates into your Sense sheet as a button. It comes with user-friendly properties that allow quick designing, positioning, previewing, and sharing of your reports.

    This section explains how to navigate through the various properties available with ancoreShare Extension.
    You will also learn about various settings and features that you will use for designing, customizing, and sharing your reports.

    ancoreShare Extension also supports the Simplified authoring experience in Qlik Saas.



    Accessing ancoreShare Extension Properties

    To view the properties for your ancoreShare object, perform the following steps.
    1. On your Sense sheet, click Edit Sheet from the top-right in the toolbar.
    2. Optionally Add ancoreShare to your Sense sheet first.
    3. Select the ancoreShare button for which you want to view properties.

    The properties panel displays ancoreShare Extension properties, as shown in the image.


    This section provides an overview of menu segments available for customizing your ancoreShare reports. See the corresponding topic to learn more about these settings and learn how to use them for your reports.


    About ancoreShare Extension

    Displays information on:

    • Version of ancoreShare Extension (formerly NPQ-Reports)
    • License type, license assignment, how long the license is valid, and to whom the license was issued.
    • You can also click on Request License to request one from there. It will open your system email dialog, automatically populated with the email address to request from and the required information of your individual environment against which the license is created.


    Button and Appearance

    The options here allow you to configure the appearance of your ancoreShare button on the Sense sheet. You can specify the color of the button, or provide a caption and tooltip for each button.

    Designing Reports

    Report Settings

    This section contains general settings for the report.
    The options here allow you to configure an Activation condition, Page size and format, and Page Numbers.

    Report Elements

    This section forms the content of the report.
    The options here allow you to add Qlik Sense objects, text, and lines as elements in your report. This is where you actually design your report.

    Sharing Reports

    Export Types

    Reports can be generated in two different file types - Adobe PDF and PowerPoint PPTX.
    This section offers settings and options regarding those file types. Besides the file name, you can set metadata information like author or company, and there are even some more options, especially for PDF.

    Export Settings

    This section is all about where your report will go once executed.
    You can Download your report, enable the Preview Window, share the report via E-Mail, upload it to Dropbox, or configure a Custom Export using JavaScript.
